The Products that we currently offer will only be delivered to the countries within the European continent and warranty related assistance can only be granted if requested from one of the following European continental countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France Métropolitaine, Germany, Greece, Holy See (Vatican City State), Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands (excl. Caribbean islands), Continental Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Continental Spain, Continental Sweden, Switzerland, UK.
If you live in one of the above countries, you can order the Fairphone 2. Do notice that even there, we do not ship to all regions. Svålbard or the Canary Islands for example, are too complicated to ship to within the quality and speed quality criteria we want to uphold. Expensive shipping costs and different VAT regulations in comparison to the mainland amongst other reasons pose a tricky situation where the delivery is not always to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
We’re not selling or shipping the Fairphone 2 outside of Europe at the moment... yet. But the good news is, we plan to start delivering to a selection of countries outside of the mentioned European countries. The question at the moment is, how fast can we make this happen?
As an Amsterdam-based organization, we wanted to launch the Fairphone 2 in Europe first. For the coming time, we will continue to focus our sales efforts on this region. At the same time, we are researching demand in a number of additional countries and starting to put certain processes in place to enable sales outside of Europe.
For the beginning, our goal has been to grow at a sustainable pace without external funding. We want to stay independent and ensure that we can properly scale up our operations, customer support, and repair services to successfully support our customers in additional geographies, which is why we’re waiting to start sales outside of Europe.
At the moment we ship to a select group of European countries. All countries of the EU and Norway and Switzerland. Do notice that even there, we do not ship to all regions. Svålbard or the Canary Islands for example, are too complicated to ship to within the quality and speed quality criteria we want to uphold. Expensive shipping costs and different VAT regulations in comparison to the mainland amongst other reasons pose a tricky situation where the delivery is not always to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Therefore we restrict the shipping of the Fairphone to the mainlands of involved/mentioned countries. In short: EU, Switzerland and Norway with the exclusion of non-EU VAT territories and Overseas regions (OMT/DOM) and Overseas countries and territories (OCT/TOM).
So if you are living on one of the islands or territories on the list below, we unfortunately can not deliver a Fairphone, accessories or spare parts to you. You can arrange to have the items shipped to an address on the mainland of one of the countries we do ship to and then organise the following logistics yourself.
